Tap to Tie allows for easy, quick sharing of any contact information. Our sustainable wood business cards are equipped with NFC technology. Simply hold your business card to an NFC compatible smartphone to share your details.

Our Tap to Tie products are equipped with NFC technology, which allows you to send your provided information to the other person's smartphone. Hold your business card to the back of the other person's mobile device, on which they will instantly receive a push notification. By clicking on it, your profile will be uploaded to the other person's mobile device. This process does not require an app for either person.

Our wooden cards come exclusively from certified FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) controlled forestry. The FSC® ensures the sustainable use of forests, which includes the preservation and improvement of the economic, ecological and social functions of forestry operations.

We currently support three organizations to fight climate change: "Plant My Tree" to save our forests, "Whale and Dolphin Conservation" to protect our oceans, and "Sea Forester" to restore algae forests in coastal areas.

After you purchase your customizable card, you will receive a confirmation email with a design brief to be filled in. You can customize your Tap to Tie as you please:


Front:
- Choose your preferred wood material
- Add your company logo
- Add your First and Last names
- Show your logo in its original colour, in black or in white
- Select the size and positioning of your logo


Back: not changeable, QR code

No, you don't need to download an app. Here's what makes it so easy. Tap to Tie opens in any web browser and is ready to go right out of the box.

Of course, just log in to your Tap to Tie profile and modify the content you want. Tap to Tie is your final business card.

Your counterpart does not need an app to receive your profile data. This makes sharing any information so easy.

All Android and newer iPhones are compatible with our business cards. If the other person has turned off the NFC function or their cell phone is not NFC compatible, it's not a problem. Just scan the QR code on the business card and off you go. Here you can find an overview of all compatible smartphones.

For iPhone smartphones, hold your card at the head of the back. With Android smartphones, the position varies, so it is best to slowly swipe your card across the back (the NFC reader is usually installed in the center). If the other person has turned off the NFC function, or the smartphone is not compatible, just let him scan the QR code on your card.

Your data is stored on servers in Germany and will never be shared with anyone, but you. If you lose your card, we can block it for you.

For standard cards:
Expected delivery time is 7 days. For other countries, shipping may take longer.

For cards with customized design:
After design approval the card will be delivered within 7 days. For other countries, this may vary.

If you have not received your Tap to Tie card, please try the steps below:

If your Tap to Tie is not waiting in your mailbox, contact your local post office or carrier and reference the tracking info.

It occasionally happens that your package is marked as delivered but doesn't arrive for another 24-48 hours. If your package has not arrived within this time frame, please send an email to contact@taptotie.com

Other

If your Tap to Tie card is scratched or damaged, you may be eligible for a replacement. We offer replacements for damaged cards with photo proof within 48 hours of delivery. If you are having trouble activating your Tap to Tie or tapping with compatible phones and you would like to request a refund or replacement, please contact our team at contact@taptotie.com. Typically, all issues can be resolved with some helpful tips from the team!

Once the design has been approved, you cannot cancel your order as it is already being made.

We care and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and we ensure to take every possible step to make that happen. If for some reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your Tap to Tie card, we accept returns and offer replacements subject to the terms and conditions herein this policy.


Kindly note that we do not offer refunds on completed services. Returns not received by us will not qualify for replacement. Shipping and insurance charges are non-refundable also.

Acceptable Return Details:
We accept product returns for a replacement if any of the following conditions are met:

Incorrect Order Received - if the products you have received are not the products you have ordered (e.g. incorrect branding or customization)

Damages and issues - If a product is defective your item will be replaced. All claims for damaged items must be made within 48 hours from the time of receiving your order with photo proofs. It is important that you open your order as soon as you get it and notify us immediately if there is any damage. If no claim for damage is made within 48 hours of delivery, no action will be taken.

Under Supply of Products - In the rare event that we undersupply a product, for example, fewer products than ordered, kindly alert us of this error within 48 hours of your order's arrival so that we may supply additional units to complete the order.

Refunds
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we will notify you to let you know if the refund was approved, If so, you will be automatically refunded on your payment method used to purchase the card. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
